I try to live a “Greener” life.
I cloth diaper, recycle, use chemical free cleaners and eat organic. One thing I seem to fail at but I try really hard to implement is using more reusable bags. I have them everywhere, in the car, in my husband’s car and in the kitchen. In the diaper bag I even have some of those bags that fold into themselves but they are so stiff I don’t like to use them.
But I’ve been converted! The Flip and Tumble 27/7 bag is my new favorite stuff into themselves reusable bag. They aren’t stiff, they roll into their own little pouch faster than my “other” bags (check the video here) and my most favorite detail is the long tote bag strap, yes I said strap. The Flip and Tumble 24/7bag has one long strap so when it is full you can just toss it on your shoulder and go. No more struggling to grab and carry all the handles of those other bags. Oh yeah, the colors are delicious!!! They come in such a wide variety there is something to please anyone; aqua/sky, pink/raspberry, lime/sky, brown/sky, black/slate and evergreen/sage
I recently went away for the weekend and in an attempt to pack light I didn’t bring the diaper bag. I figured we weren’t going anywhere so her overnight bag was enough. I was wrong! At the last minute we decided to take the baby to brunch. I dumped out the Flip and Tumble, which was serving as the holder of all the kid’s snacks and put in a large box of wipes 3 diapers, a change of clothes, snacks, 2 sippys, a couple books, hand lotion and my wallet and phone. No problem at all! It fit all of that with so much room to spare, which worked out perfectly to stow her coat and hat at the restaurant. Again it’s one handle came in handy to hang from the back of my chair without worrying about a strap falling off and spilling the contents all over the floor.
This awesome tote came from Stubby Pencil Studio. Not only will you find the Flip and Tumble there they also have the coolest eco-green products for kids such as Natural Play Dough, Picnic Play Mat and Smencils!
