family that I have I was exposed to so many different genres of music? I’ve loved everything from Motown to Rock to Alternative to Pop to Swing to Gospel to Broadway. I am an equal opportunity listener but over the past couple years I’m partial to music that makes me feel things, music that has a soul, music that has meaning and life. One of my favorite artists is Michael Bublé. He is a rare character these days as someone who sings with his heart and spirit rather than money signs and groupies.
I remember the first time I saw/heard Michael Bublé, it was a Starbucks commercial about 4 years ago. His voice just captured me then looking at his is adorable face made me fall in love. The song in the commercial was Come Fly with Me. Anything Frank Sinatra makes me think of my grandparents so instantly I was sold. Since that first introduction I have collected every CD Michael Bublé has put out and I listen to them regularly, just ask Rob.
I was recently asked to review Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden. Hmmm, let me think about that, of course! To say I was excited is in understatement.
The DVD is a great mix of live performance and behind the scenes antics and interviews. It shows a very personal and humorous side of him, something people wouldn’t normally see just buying a cd or attending a concert. Honestly I didn’t know Michael Bublé was as popular as his is.
