You can safely assume that I’m not going to BlogHer since I’m sitting on my couch watching The Fashion Show instead of schmoozing with other blogger mommies. I’m not having a pity party or anything in fact Rob and I are both planning on attending Izeafest in October. - After a week caring for someone else’s children’s I am glad to just be with mine.
- With Rob’s hectic schedule the weekends are our time to live a normal life.
- Mealtime isn’t rushed through, we are able to eat together, slowly and chat.
- We can eat a real HOT breakfast, not cereal or bagels.
- I can lounge in bed in the morning with the kids and watch cartoons with them.
- We get to spend time with the grandparents that we rarely get to see!
- Shae is learning new things each day, I can’t miss that.
- Work with my Dad on getting his Cozi grocery/shopping list organized for his & Shae’s duo birthday party.
- Catching up on being a couch potato with Rob, watching Deadliest Catch and Hell’s Kitchen.
- Spend time on our new Cozi account to get better organized for our upcoming vacation(it’s compatible with our crackberrys LOL)

This weekend we are hoping to spend some time together as a family out on the lake we live on. The weather has been horrible, raining almost everyday so it has made it hard to plan any outdoor events. My husband is off from work all weekend so we are crossing or fingers to get in some swimming, boating and waterskiing. If it rains, it is video games, indoor picnic and lots of praying to Mother Nature!
I think you have compiled a wonderful list and it sounds like you are VERY blessed with reasons to stay with your family this weekend!

actually our whole family has been spending lots of time together with my hubbys mom who has terminal cancer..very sad but we are trying to get in every moment we can get with her
Good luck! We were planning on having a day trip to Half Moon Bay this weekend but unfortunately our plans fell through and its postponed until the next few weeks. We don't have huge plans this weekend, we're just having some friends over on Saturday to grill, and we're going to a nice Mediterranean restaurant we've been dying to try out for their shewerma! On Sunday I think we made go see Harry Potter. Anyway, I hope you win!!!

I am going to shop for a rug for Madison's nursery and buy some new maternity pants, dont know if I told you but my favorite ones SPLIT! Luckily it was from wear and not chubbiness, LOL.
We're going down to the Harbor on Saturday, but Sunday will be a lazy day at home for sure.

After my husband's heavy work week with being in crunch mode (he's a software engineer), we're looking forward to just hanging out, possibly going out to eat, and having a friend over to play Rock Band to relieve the stress.

You know, even though the kids are home and I loose track of the days during the summer…your right the weekends really do let you play catch-up and a great excuse for a 'Family Movie Night' or 'Let's Play Games Night' To me, weekends are a way to Melt the family back together

it was my birthday weekend.. I had lots of fun and gained about 2 pounds!! What could be better, at least I know I enjoyed!
