Make Your Own Crafting Kit

Thanks to a kick in the pants from GummyLump’s #300CraftsforKids project Shae and I have been doing so many crafts lately.

#300CraftsforKids

I used to be really good about crafts about a year ago since moving into this house I haven’t done many with the kids. I know it’s because we no longer have a play/craft room. All of the supplies are now kept in the garage; no one wants to go in there.

sorry for chopping off my own head, that’s what happens when I record myself 🙂

Here is the list of stuff on the bucket:

  • Sticky foam sheets
  • Colored pompoms
  • Colored pipe cleaners
  • Embroidery Floss
  • Assorted fabric flowers
  • Assorted buttons
  • Assorted beads
  • Googly eyes
  • Multi-colored stamp pad
  • Assorted stamps
  • Water colors
  • Glue & double sided tabe
  • Construction paper & cardstock
  • Sequins
  • Sticky gems
  • Colored pencils
  • Glitter Glue
  • Hole punch
  • Scissors

Remember, this won’t be everything you need for every craft but it’s a good start. In the garage I’ve started a little pile to lidded glass jars, sturdy small boxes and odd shaped containers. If I find a craft online or in a magazine that can be modified to use something I already have I can just grab something I already have. Let me know what you’ve put into your craft kit or where you found some really cool craft supplies.
