You Are….

Have you ever wondered if your kids REALLY knew how much you loved them? Explain it to them in terms of food. Use their favorite foods to really get the point across. A cupcake isn’t really a cupcake with the icing, its just a muffin. A cupcake NEEDS that icing to make it whole, to make it what it really is. Tell your kids you aren’t whole without them, tell them they complete you better than Jerry Maguire ever could. You are the Apple Of My Eye just doesn’t cut it anymore.
you are the icing on my cupcake, tell your kids how much you really love them

I mean, it’s cute. But just like we shouldn’t encourage emotional eating, we shouldn’t equate food with love.

What an adorable way to say “I love you!” Our little one gave us the best moment at dinner the other night when she looked at each of us, sighed and said “My hero!”.
