Holiday Wishlist 2010 – chicka-d Review – Clothes For The Game

Are you a huge fan of college sports and love to show your school spirit?  If so then you need to check out chicka-d which is a privately owned women’s apparel company created for women to show off their school spirit while maintaining a unique sense of style.

I am a huge University of Alabama fan and I guess Melinda is a fan by default so it was cool when Melinda received a University of Alabama tube dress for review.  The dress is strapless with an empire bodice and elastic shelf-bra. Side pockets are hidden by light gathers along the front and the dress is 92% Cotton, 8% Spandex.  In my opinion Melinda looks super cute in the dress plus it is the University of Alabama which makes her look even hotter.

“Female sports fans no longer have to resign themselves to wearing baggy jerseys or men’s t-shirts to show their school spirit,” commented Lauren Polt, founder of chicka-d. “With chicka-d clothing options they can now feel free to show off their team spirit with a variety of options that are truly unique to their style, tastes and figure.”

The above quote from founder Lauren Polt says it all and this is one of many reasons Melinda loves chicka-d.

chicka-d believes school spirit is a way of life and should not be reserved solely for the stadium. Therefore, its premise is simple: Clothes for the game. Clothes for spirit. Clothes for life.

This fall look for chicka-d clothing lines at Alabama, Louisiana State University, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Colorado, Texas Christian University, Arizona, Arizona State, University of California, Stanford, Central Florida, Houston, Southern Illinois, Appalachian State and Virginia Tech.
