After our tour, we were invited to an exclusive wine tasting. We purchased several bottles of wine from the Benziger Family Winery to bring back to our family and friends.

We are planning another trip to Sonoma this year, and we have already booked another visit to the Benziger Family Winery. I think that the winery is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and personable and you really feel like you are a family friend when you visit the winery. I would recommend the Benziger Family Winery to any wine lovers who want an inside look at the wine-making process. Once you visit, I have no doubt that you will want to return again and again!

While in high school, I dated one person who I decided to stop having contact with. I discovered MyLife.com through Hoovers, and I am thrilled I did. While I was looking through the website, I decided to try to find the person I dated about ten years ago. I was skeptical about the site finding that one person from long ago. How could a website find someone when I had no success finding him myself?

I checked my email one day and found a notice from MyLife.com. I thought that maybe the site was asking me about my profile, so I didn’t think anything of it. I went to the website, and there was the name of the person I was looking for. By using the website, I was able to find the person I was in love with at one point in my life. The phone number and address was displayed on the site, but I had to pay a small fee in order to view it. The basic information such as the name of the person and the city he lived in was shown. I will never forget my experience with the site, and I will continue to use it.

Overall I am pretty happy with my appearance and with who I am as a person other then the few extra pounds that I could stand to lose but if I could change one other thing about myself it would be my eye color.

Currently I have brown eyes which I consider to be pretty boring but thankfully Coloured Contact Lenses from GetLenses.co.uk now allows me to select from numerous different contract lenses so I  can change my eye color whenever I want.  You always see male celebrities on the cover of magazines with really blue or green eyes that women fall in love with and I would love to have eyes just like that.  It does sound kind of weird for a man to say something like this but I think I would look pretty good with blue, green or grey eyes.  I also could see myself wearing black or red contact lens just too really change things up.  That might freak out my kids and the people I work with but I think that would look so cool.

I also love the color selection to choose from even though a lot of them aren’t for me I could see Melinda or Sabreena wearing the violet or opaque color contact lenses.  They come in prescription and non-prescription so everyone could wear these if they decided to and they are very affordable so they won’t break the bank which is a good thing.

I heard on the radio today that experts are predicting by 2030 about 50-60% of the population will be obese. That is scary as hell to think about.

I feel like as a nation we aren’t doing everything that we could be doing in order to stay healthy. I know for a fact I’m not. For example today at lunch I had a huge turkey and cheese sub where instead I could have had a salad. Now I am not saying not to ever eat anything other than a salad but we need to start doing our part to get and stay healthy. Our kids learn from us and we as parents need to be good role models for our children so that they develop healthy eating habits.

I read about a lot of people turning to surgery for a quick fix instead of taking the time to do it right. I can understand getting certain procedures done when necessary like a tummy tuck but there are risks and a lot of questions to answer: www.tummytuckcost.com/frequently-asked-questions-about-tummy-tucks/.  People need to fully understand the risks associated with certain medical procedures before jumping in head first. I am sure 99.5% of these kinds of medical procedures end well but like I said people need to be 100% certain of ALL of the risks and what they are getting into exactly.

I hope the statistic that I heard today turns out to be false because if 50-60% of our population becomes obese we are in for some serious problems.

Recently I was told about a site called Snaphats that sells everything from new era hats to tees to watches and a whole lot more.

What got me looking at this site was something they call Snapbacks which are what I would call throwback or vintage items. Let me explain; I love throwback NFL gear but it is very hard to find so I went searching Snapbacks for Houston Oilers hats and shirts. After they left Houston and moved the team to Tennessee Houston Oilers items became very hard to come by. I love the old Oilers logo and luckily I was able to find some hats and shirts on their site.

Snaphats like I said offers more than just hats. They have a nice selection of jackets, hoodies, belts, watches and wallets for people who are always on the hunt for new brands and looks.  To me it’s a one stop vintage hat shop that offers so much more than just hats.

Snaphats.com launched online in April of 2010 to meet the growing demand for vintage and reproduction snapback hats online. Having previously sold them out of a shop in Dallas, we decided, after many inquiries and a lack of good content online, that they would launch the site. Almost immediately, Snaphats.com started to grow and become an online database of some of the great hats of the late 80s through 90s.

I am always amazed when I stumble across sites like this because I hate shopping as it is so if I can buy everything I am looking for in one place that is a huge bonus for me. Plus I love sites that have a large diverse selection because it makes shopping a lot easier for me which I appreciate.

Hawaii is that perfect place that looks great on TV and when you see images you wish you could live their forever or at least visit for a week or two.

Melinda and I have been talking for 12 years about taking a vacation to Hawaii but still to this day have not gotten there. I am not sure why we haven’t gone yet but for me I want to go to Hawaii with no kids and enjoy Hawaii just Melinda and I. When I say that out loud it sounds mean leaving the kids out and I think that is the reason we haven’t gone because we don’t want to leave them out so we are reconsidering. I know the kids would love Hawaii just as much as Melinda and I would plus it would be a vacation to remember forever.

Recently I have been looking into going to Kauai and have been looking into renting a private Kauai vacation home. What better way to enjoy a vacation to Hawaii then with a private rental. I like this option because we can do our own cooking so that we don’t have to eat out the entire time we are on vacation but what I love most in having our own space for the week. Hotel and condos tend to be small and considering we have been waiting for 12 years to go I want to do it right. Also, if all five of us go we are definitely going to need a space larger than a hotel.

So the search begins and I am really hoping we make a real effort to get to Hawaii. It won’t be until at least 2013 but at least this time we are really thinking about making this vacation happen.
