I love to cook, but I hate cooking the same things over and over again. Everyone says that spices and herbs can switch up a tired meal into something fabulous, but buying some of those herbs and spices can be a waste. I like chili but only in the winter so I don’t need a whole jar of chili blend seasonings taking up precious cabinet space. Every spring my family takes a trip to the Jersey Shore for the day. Just a day to play in the sand, stroll the boardwalk and have some treats before the summer crowd rolls in. Since we aren’t as close to the Jersey Shore this year I’ve found a phenomenal replacement for our fudge obsession, Rosa’s Fudge.

Handmade with real cream and butter and vanilla, Rosa’s Fudge stands against any of the beach places I’ve been to in Maryland, Jersey and Delaware. My favorites were Maple Walnut and Chocolate Walnut; both had delicious creamy textures and big chunks of walnuts. The others I really wanted to try but they had been snatched up by the rest of my family were Vanilla Cherry and Chocolate Coffee.
We had company over for dinner the weekend we received the fudge and served it along with our dessert, our guests raved about the unique flavors. Since we might not be headed to our annual spring destination I’ll just have to munch on the couple squares I hid in the freezer.

The super sweet Rich Arnold sent me a bottle of Citrus Hand and Body Lotion to test on my horribly dry hands. I keep this by the kitchen sink so that it is handy everytime I wash my hands. It has a clean citrus scent but doesn’t leave you smelling like commercial wood cleaners. It was thick and creamy but absorbed evenly and without stickiness. My little one likes to put lotion on too and I have no problem letting her rub this into her hands and face and sometimes even her belly is she so desires. She has sensitive skin and I’ve never had any issues with redness or rash.
