Kids Backpack from Lassig

Like mother like daughter. Shae is growing up to love bags. Backpacks, coin purses, lunch bags, it doesn’t matter. She spots them in stores or in my closet and wants to take ownership. Can you imagine her delight when I gave her this Lassig Mini Backpack.

Lassig is a German brand of bags and accessories. Their relaxed and functional fashions are coveted by the whole family in over 50 countries. The high-quality bags made by LÄSSIG pass modern mothers’ tests of daily use with flying colors and leave a lot of room for responsibility, fashion and a good conscience.

When I was approached to consider a Lassig product I immediately went to the kid’s products. I’m a sucker for cute designs but I knew I wanted something of substance for when Shae starts 1st grade. Last year’s backpack was cute but was definitely for a preschooler. The Lassig Mini Backpack is made from eco friendly materials free of PVC, nickel, AZO dyes, cadmium and phthalates.

Details likea large main compartment with three inner compartments, zip pouch and a snap hook for keys. the padded shoulder straps with additional chest strap ensure a comfortable fit all year round make this a bag that Shae can grow into for the next couple of years.

I’m eyeing the Green Label Urban bag. Even though it’s built to work as a diaper bag it’s definitely something I could use every day with or without my kids. We are past the diaper stage but I’m all for organized chaos in my handbag with compartments, pockets and hooks.

Handbags with a kick PonyUP! Kentucky Recap

Handbags for a mission.

That’s a simple way to explain what PonyUP! Kentucky is all about. In an effort to raise funds to aid in horse rescue facilities PonyUP! Kentucky was created. Founder Rallie McAllister knew the gorgeous details of riding equipment horse leather would also make great details on handbags. Using this idea PonyUP! Kentucky has created a collection of beautiful totes and bags in a large variety of colors and patterns. There is a style for every woman no matter if she’s a horse person or not.

Moms on the Run plus Lance Giveaway

Days spent at the pool, trips to the playground or drives to the farms for fresh produce pickin’.

Each of these activities requires a little bit of planning when you have 3 kids of varying ages. The first thing I always think of is snacks and drinks. One snack that is top on the list is peanut butter crackers. While this is a very vague description it means Lance Tosty peanut butter filled crackers. These along with Toast Chee have been staple in my parent’s pantry also; I guess that’s where I get it from.

Recenly Lance sent my family a huge package of snack crackers and Lance Minis to pack for our on the go snacking.

Whatever YOU call it we all carry some sort of tote or bag for our personal belongings. I have a stack in the closet ranging in size, color, material and purpose. The couple that I really love and use the most stay in the living room tucked behind a chair for quick access. Rebagz Redefines Fashion with Recycling

Reduce Reuse Recycle. We’ve all heard it a hundred times but what does it really mean. Rebagz has it down with their collection of handbags, totes, wristlets and more. All Rebagz Handbags are made using recycled materials AND under fair labor conditions.

Rebagz uses coated recycled paper, recycled PET plastic, recycled juice packs and recycled rice sacks that already have beautiful graphics printed on them. These bags are handmade so may vary slightly than the picture you see online. The Juicy Hand Woven collection is made from-you guessed it-juice pouches so they are water resistant and washable with a simple wipe down. The Rice Sack Graphics line is made from rice sacks that already come beautifully designed, no screen printing is done to these bags.

The idea is simple; make handbags in lots of shapes and sizes and let the customer customize the patterns, colors and trim. 1154 LILL Studio does exactly that.

In 1999, Jennifer Velarde started 1154 LILL Studio – the original custom handbag company in her small studio apartment at 1154 W. Lill Street in Chicago. She had signed up for her first street fair and decided at the last minute to bring her fabric swatches along with her bags to take custom orders in the booth. She loved pairing fabrics, colors and textures together in interesting ways, and thought others would enjoy this creative outlet as well. She was right. Women were drawn to this unique concept and the framework for 1154 LILL Studio’s original “design your own bag” concept was born.

Today there are so many styles of handbags, totes, clutches and travel bags to choose from that no one should ever walk away empty-handed. If you’re like me and can never decide there are plenty of already designed options to choose from. Luckily we were sent an already designed LEXI from the new Links Collection. I took it out of the bag, arranged the straps as a backpack and Sabreena immediately asked if she could have it. As much as I wanted to say “NO,MINE” I couldn’t deny her, I mean she’s never really showed an interest in purses so this is officially her first handbag, and a stunning one at that. She’s going to start off her high school career in style.
