When it comes to the UK, we’re known for a few things – the unpredictable weather, afternoon teas and hidden coastal gems.

With this being said, we wanted to highlight just five of the many beaches we believe to be gems of their own, ready and waiting to be explored on adventure holidays UK bound, either during the upcoming October half term, as a chilly winter getaway or a place to add to your ‘to visit’ list for 2025.

Bournemouth Beach

Location:Bournemouth, Dorset, on the south coast of England.

Why visit:Bournemouth Beach is renowned for its seven miles of golden sand, clean waters, and vibrant seaside atmosphere. It’s perfect for families, with various activities like paddleboarding, surfing, and beach volleyball. Not only this, but there are also beautiful gardens, a Victorian pier, and a promenade lined with cafes and restaurants to be explored.
