On Jan. 7, 2026, thousands of doTERRA Wellness Advocates gathered virtually for the company’s annual Jumpstart event, a high-energy broadcast designed to equip independent distributors with product knowledge, business-building tools, and promotional strategies for the new year. Hosted by Shannon Bible, doTERRA’s chief experience officer and executive vice president of U.S. and Canada operations, the event featured presentations from company executives and top-ranking field leaders.
The Pleasant Grove, Utah-based essential oils company stages Jumpstart each January as a launchpad for distributor activity. Unlike doTERRA’s in-person Global Convention held each fall, Jumpstart functions as a virtual kickoff accessible through doTERRA Connect, the company’s internal event platform. Replays remain available for registered attendees for a limited period following the broadcast.
Executive Outlook for 2026
CEO Kirk Jowers delivered the opening address, titled “Welcome to 2026: A Bold New Year for dōTERRA.” Jowers, who assumed the chief executive role in early 2024 after serving in various leadership positions since 2015, has focused company messaging on financial stability and global expansion. During past addresses, he has emphasized that doTERRA operates as “growing steadily in markets around the globe.”
The company reported more than 10 million global customers and annual sales exceeding $2 billion, according to its 2024 figures. North America remains doTERRA’s largest market, generating approximately 35 percent of total sales.
Programs, Promotions, and Product Launches
Isaac Wilson, general manager of the U.S. market, and Michael Stirling, general manager of Canada, co-presented a session titled “Your 2026 Power Stack: Programs, Promotions & Product Launches.” Their presentation outlined first-quarter promotional initiatives, including the “Healthy 100” program that incentivizes new and returning customers to place qualifying orders through January.
doTERRA launched several products in late 2025 that featured prominently in Jumpstart discussions. At its September 2025 Global Convention, the company debuted RevitaZen+ Advanced Organ Detoxification Complex, RevitaZen Detoxification Blend, and Castor Oil, products designed to support liver, kidney, and digestive function. These products form the foundation of the company’s 90-Day Reset program.
The 90-Day Reset Strategy
Multiple Jumpstart sessions centered on doTERRA’s 90-Day Reset, a structured wellness program that combines foundational supplements with lifestyle modifications. Lauren Busch, senior director of education strategy, presented “The Detox Pathway: Prepare, Cleanse, Renew,” explaining the science behind the company’s detoxification product line.
Alora Seegmiller, director of business operations, delivered “Your Q1–Q2 Superpower: The 90-Day Reset Strategy,” positioning the program as both a personal wellness tool and a customer acquisition mechanism.
Field leaders reinforced this messaging through practical application sessions. Presidential Diamond Jen Kruba and Blue Diamond Ruth Gough co-presented “Maximizing 90-Day Reset with a Group,” while Presidential Diamonds Andy and Natalie Goddard discussed “The Reset That Builds Results and Teams.” Dana Moore, another Presidential Diamond, offered “90-Day Reset, but Make It FUN!”
Leadership Development Emphasis
Jumpstart 2026 devoted significant programming to in-person engagement and leadership cultivation. Brittany Meyers, central and northeast regional vice president, and John Jensen, mountain and southeast regional vice president, presented “You Grow by Going: Why Leadership Retreat Matters,” promoting doTERRA’s upcoming Leadership Retreat scheduled for spring 2026 in California.
Cristina Badell and Marie-Kim Provencher, both holding dual titles as chief field officers and Presidential Diamonds, addressed “Lead With Presence: Why In-Person Experiences Transform Businesses.” Their session underscored the company’s return to emphasizing live events following pandemic-era restrictions.
Presidential Diamond Melyna Harrison closed the business-building content with “How to Build Momentum This Year: 5 Game-Changing Goal Steps.”

Virtual Accessibility and Engagement
doTERRA structured Jumpstart 2026 as a free virtual event, removing cost barriers that might prevent newer or less active Wellness Advocates from participating. Attendees accessed the livestream through doTERRA Connect using their account credentials, with no limit on simultaneous device connections per account.
The format allowed participants across multiple time zones to engage with content designed specifically for the North American market. On-demand replays extended the event’s reach beyond the Jan. 7 broadcast date.
Industry Positioning
Jumpstart fits within a broader category of direct selling company events designed to energize distributor networks at the year’s start. For doTERRA, which operates primarily through its network of approximately 3 million Wellness Advocates, such events serve dual functions: they deliver product education while reinforcing organizational culture and business opportunity messaging.
The company has scheduled its 2026 Global Convention for Sept. 23-26 in Orlando, Florida, with Jumpstart 2026 serving as an initial touchpoint before that larger fall event.
