ScoreBig saves you up to 60% on Event Tickets

Ever look at the prices for professional sporting events and concerts? Insane. I love sports, I love music but I love money in my wallet more. ScoreBig helps people like me and you save on tickets to the events we want to attend the most.Score Tickets up to 60% off at ScoreBig

Rob and I went to a Phillies game the other night. This was our FIRST Phillies game together actually. Philly got a brand new gorgeous baseball stadium 10 years ago. We always talked about going but the price of tickets was always a deterrent. As a family of five it’s hard to budget indulgences like this.

Did you know Around 40% of event tickets go unsold every year. That’s a lot of empty seats that could be filled by you and your own family. ScoreBig is capitalizing on those unsold tickets and passing on the big savings, up to 60% sometimes.Score Tickets up to 60% off at ScoreBig

The process is super simple. Create an account. Find the event. Make an offer and wait for approval. You’ll find out right away of your bid was accepted. BONUS -all seats ordered together will be next to each other

I bid on 2 Phillies tickets, great seats for $50 a piece and got them. It was painless. No fees, no shipping charges, no hassle.

We got our e-tickets a few days later and had a great time at the game.Phillies Game

Imagination Movers in Philadelphia

One of Shae’s (and mine and Sabreena’s) favorite kid shows is Imagination Movers. Reach high, think big, work hard, have fun!

In 2003, four New Orleans friends – Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche and Scott “Smitty” Smith – started gathering after their kids’ bedtimes to write songs and brainstorm ideas about a children’s television show. Two years later, they had become the latest sensation of their musical city, attracting parents and children alike with an eclectic pop sensibility and lyrical turns about healthy snacks and playing catch and conquering childhood fears of bedtime. Lines to the Movers’ shows stretched down blocks.

The songs are so catchy and rhythmic that as a family we find ourselves breaking out in song at random times during the day. When Shae mentions she doesn’t want to go to school, I immediately start singing “First Day of School”. When we talk about what’s for dinner Rob often yells out “When I Say Mac, You Say Cheese”. She’s bedtime routine includes listening to Calling All Movers and Eight Feet, her 2 favorite Mover’s albums.

I’ve been wanting to go to an Imagination Movers show for over 2 years now and when I saw they were going to be in the area I got so excited.  I knew this was something we would all love.  Shae, Sabreena and I are headed into Philadelphia this weekend to catch one of only 2 shows they are perfoming at the Tower Theater. I’m expecting high energy, lots of movement and even more singing along.

I have another set of tickets to giveaway too!  A LookWhatMomFound…and Dad too! reader is going to receive a 4-pack of tickets to the Tower Theater 4:30pm show on April 10th.  Leave a comment and tell me your fave Mover or song.

Philadelphia Wings 4-pack tickets Giveaway

While we love doing things as a family sporting events are usually top on our list. The cost for our family of 5 to attend a MLB or NFL game could easily cover groceries for about a month. To keep it reasonable without losing the excitement and action we are attending a Philadelphia Wings game.

The Philadelphia Wings are members one of 13 teams of The National Lacrosse League, North America’s professional indoor lacrosse club. Lacrosse features some of the strongest, fastest and best athletes in the world. NLL teams each play a 16-game regular season schedule (eight home and eight away) that begins in December and runs through April, followed by the Champion’s Cup Playoffs. There are no tie games in professional indoor lacrosse, there is always a WINNER.

Celebrate the Wing’s 25th Anniversary and make it a family event that’s friendly to the wallet by taking advantage of the Family Pack; 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas for just $100! Win a 4-pack of tickets to the April 10th game against the Rochester Knighthawks at the Wells Fargo Center. Tell me what kind of professional sports events you’ve ever been to.

The Red Monster with a Green Thumb comes to Philadelphia

The weather forecast might be cold and dreary in Philadelphia but on Sesame Street it’s always sunny. Join Elmo and all his friends when Sesame Street Live’s Elmo’s Green Thumb comes to the Liacouras Center March 12-14th.

Elmo has raised his sunflower, Sunny, from a seed, but his floral friend has outgrown the flower pot. Elmo and friends find Big Bird’s garden the ideal place for Sunny to flourish and grow but they are too excited to wait. Rather than let Sunny follow nature’s course, Abby Cadabby, Sesame Street’s fairy-in-training, casts a spell to make Sunny grow. The spell does just the opposite and, instead of growing, Elmo and all of his friends shrink! While Abby searches for just the right words to reverse the spell, Elmo, Zoe, Telly and friends explore Big Bird’s garden from a smaller perspective and learn some big lessons about patience, overcoming their fears and appreciating the role that each creature plays in our ecosystem – from dancing ladybugs and beautiful butterflies to grouchy beetles that scavenge the garden floor. Will being small help Sunny grow tall? It’s a fresh, original Sesame Street Live on a whole new scale!
