Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts he actually wants

It’s coming quick! What are you planning for your dad? Breakfast in bed is sweet, a golf outing is expected and a new dress shirt is boring. Surprise him with something special, something unexpected this year.

Nikon Coolpix S230 $209
It’s sleek and stylish design is a must have for those dance recitals, trips to the zoo and little league games. Dad wants the latest digital photography technology without all the bulk. With an array of cool colors Dad can choose from jet black, night blue or warm silver. I don’t think he’d be too keen on a pretty plum.

Wii Fit $90
Whether dad is a couch potato or not this interactive “toy” will get him and the rest of the family moving. Chock full of yoga, strength training, aerobics and games disguised as exercise the Wii is bound to be a hit with any member of the family.

Magazine subscription $10-$25
Maybe you don’t consider him a reader but magazines still count as reading. Magazines.com is the largest, most dependable magazine subscription service on the net. With more than 2000 titles to choose from there is going to be something he’d like. Sports dad can get Golf Digest while Hobbyist dad can get Do-It-Yourself.

Music Concert $100
Does he like Kings of Leon or Toby Keith or Billy Joel (this was an awesome concert!!)? Check out Ticketmaster or Stubhub for great performers in your area.

Omaha Steaks $60
With their Fire up The Grill special you’ll be giving him the gift of several yummy meals. A versatile sampling of chicken, burgers, pork, steaks and some dessert he can only enjoy the thoughtfulness. They do say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
