Not sure if this is a women thing or what but Melinda is always on me about my driving. Either I am looking at my Blackberry or I am too close to the line on the road or I am driving too fast and the list goes on and on.
Melinda loves to make fun of me and now it is kind of a game seeing if I can get to Delaware or Pennsylvania via 95 without hitting the bumpy thing on the side of the road that was designed to wake you if you fall asleep and drift off of the road. Ok, I admit I have hit that thing a few times never because I was sleeping but because I was too close to the shoulder. I have never fallen asleep behind the wheel and I thank God for that.
Just last night we were on our way to Buffalo Wild Wings and I was going to try to beat the light. I was always told yellow means speed up but maybe I am wrong, LOL. Once Melinda figured out what I was trying to do she started to yell and me and was asking me what my problem was because I was too far back to beat the light. No biggie, I could have beaten that stinking light plus I didn’t want to miss any of Monday night football, LOL.
Oh well I guess as long as I am driving I will have to put up with the ridicule from Melinda. LOL. BTW, I have never been in an accident with another vehicle before so I am not sure what Melinda is worried about. Although I have slid into a tree in college and slid into a curb last winter coming around a circle in a snow storm. Oh Well, guess Melinda will have to deal or she will have to drive from now on.
