About 2 minutes after Shaun left for school yesterday morning we got a knock on the door. I thought it was the UPS man and Melinda thought something happened to Shaun on his way to the bus stop. Come to find out Melinda’s fear daily is something happening to Shaun on the way to the bus stop. Today her fear came true. The knock at the door was a girl from Shaun’s bus stop telling us he fell and his face is bleeding. We run outside and we saw a parent walking Shaun down the street with a bloody face. The first picture was taken right after the incident and the second picture was taken 12 hours later.
Shaun said he was running to the bus stop and tripped over a rock and landed on his hand and face. He seems ok but still in a little pain and as you can see from above he is pretty banged up. Shaun asked if he could stay home from school today because he doesn’t want anyone to see his face all scraped up. Not sure if we will but I am leaning towards letting him stay home. My little boy is messed up!!!
