It’s time to thank our troops and their families. The insiders say our soldiers are headed home soon but not soon enough to ease the stress and burden on the families they leave behind during deployment. Cheerios is partnering with the USO to provide some cheer, encouragement and support for those families that have stay home and wait for the safe return of their loved ones that serve our country each day.
The Cheerios Cheer campaign is a way for us to do something effortless but impactful for someone else. On specially marked boxes of Cheerios simply cut out the postcard on the front of the box, write a message of gratitude and support and mails to the USO. The USO will then forward to deserving military families.
Get your Cheerios soon as this campaign only runs through November.
Cheerios will donate $1 to the USO for each Cheer postcard from specially marked packages received by November 30, 2012. As part of the Cheer Program, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO, and will donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards received. So, personal participation plays a big role in helping the program reach its goal.
Doing something so small has never been so important to lift the spirits of others.
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cheerios and received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to post.
