The world of reusable bags has a new name, Shagbag. A relative new-comer to the eco-bag industry, Shagbags were born in 1997 out of a desire to be earth friendly while remaining stylish. Owners Alli and Stefanie were determined to refuse store bags and this meant the shopping bag styles that are often sold near the check-out. While these bags are useful they are usually unattractive and awkward to fold and store. The duo came up with a design that is not just good-looking but durable and accommodating for many uses.

Here is my Shagbag, loosely stuffed with standard groceries. As you can see it’s nowhere full but this is just to give you an idea of what can fit; 64 oz apple juice, box of No Pudge brownie mix, 16 oz spaghetti, box of cereal, box of granola bars, big jar of peanutbutter, bag of Somersaults snacks.
Again I could’ve fit so much more with little effort, the bag itself can tote up to 25lbs of goodies, whether it be groceries, new fabric store samples or baby toys for grandmas.
