Dora the Explorer has a new adventure for her friends: helping in the fight against childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
Dora is the new spokesperson for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Trike-A-Thon program. Dora appears in two television spots on Nick Jr. inviting children to embark on a unique adventure to make a difference in the lives of others. “Nick Jr.’s help in promoting the Trike-A-Thon program has been a tremendous benefit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” said Richard C. Shadyac Jr., CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising organization of St. Jude. “And now, with one of their popular characters serving as the spokesperson for the program, even more families will learn about Trike-A-Thon and the program’s role in helping St. Jude continue its lifesaving mission while providing important riding safety tips for young children.”
