The 80’s were a time when music was simple and easy and the artists are still remembered to this day. Just in case you forgot or are trying to block out the 80’s here are a few artists I remember vividly: George Michael, Rick Springfield, Twisted Sister and Cyndi Lauper. There is an awesome band called Juice Box Heroes that plays these 80’s artists with a kids twist.
Juice Box Heroes brothers Craig and Scott Coane both played in 80’s bands in college and after college they started their own 80’s band. After becoming dads Craig and Scott realized playing in bars until 2 a.m. and then having to wake up for that 5 a.m. bottle feeding wasn’t going to work and they realized something needed to change. Enter Juice Box Heroes.

When we received this CD for review Shaun and I were pretty excited because we love music and Shaun loves to listen to music every night at bedtime. What caught my eye was the catchy titles to old 80’s classics like “Puppy’s Fur” which is a parody of Rick Springfield’s Jessie’s Girl. No Sugar Added is filled with awesome songs that you and your kids will love listening to.
This CD is so good Shaun has listened to it every night at bed time since we received it and he is a pain when it comes to music so that is how I know it is good. Every night when I put Shaun to bed I ask him what CD he wants to listen to and he tells me “Dad, the same one I listen to every night, Juice Box Heroes”. This is my story and I’m stickin to it.
