Father’s day is next Sunday and how cool would it be to give the gift of pictures and memories to that special guy in your life?
The Woven App along with a Kindle Fire is just what the man in your life needs for Father’s Day. Woven is a great “Dad’s app” whether they want to relive old memories with friends, look back at baby pictures or brag about their kids.
I was recently given the opportunity to analyse the Woven app along with a Kindle Fire and let me tell you this is one of the best photo apps that I have used in a very long time.
Melinda and I have been using the Woven App for about a week now and are impressed with what it can do and what it offers and are really enjoying the old memories that we have been discovering on Facebook.
Here is what Melinda thinks about the app so far:
Years of memories captured in snapshots all together in one place. In short that is what Woven The App is all about. At first I thought there wouldn’t really be a purpose for Woven. I couldn’t think of a reason I would need to see at a glance all of the photographs that I had scattered in the interwebs. I was wrong. In a couple quick clicks I had a digital scrapbook of my family and friends going back 4-5 years. I know I’ll go back further once I remember my Shutterfly password too.
Woven allowed me to watch my now 2 1/2 year old niece grow up right before my eyes while I swiped through all the Facebook uploads I’ve made. PhotoBucket has even more memories as that’s what I used to upload baby pictures of Shaun and Shae to be used on a parenting forum I used to belong to.
While the watching, remembering and reminiscing were fantastic I would love a share button. Overall the Woven app is fun extra to have especially if you have photos to show off such as kids, remodeling or vacations.
So far we are really enjoying the Woven App as well and enjoying reliving photos that we have posted on Facebook over the last two to three years. It is hard to remember what I have posted over the years but now I am able to sit back and discover all of the forgotten memories. Another thing that I love about Woven is that you do not need to be online for your picture to always be with you which I like because I can grab the Kindle Fire or iPad and take pictures with me when we go and visit family. Woven also works with pictures on Flickr and Picasa and can be used for free on the Kindle Fire, Nook, Android and iPhone and iPad so you have no excuse not to use Woven.
I am glad that I was given the opportunity to analyse Woven because without it those pictures would have just been forgotten memories.
