Hawaii is that perfect place that looks great on TV and when you see images you wish you could live their forever or at least visit for a week or two.
Melinda and I have been talking for 12 years about taking a vacation to Hawaii but still to this day have not gotten there. I am not sure why we haven’t gone yet but for me I want to go to Hawaii with no kids and enjoy Hawaii just Melinda and I. When I say that out loud it sounds mean leaving the kids out and I think that is the reason we haven’t gone because we don’t want to leave them out so we are reconsidering. I know the kids would love Hawaii just as much as Melinda and I would plus it would be a vacation to remember forever.
Recently I have been looking into going to Kauai and have been looking into renting a private Kauai vacation home. What better way to enjoy a vacation to Hawaii then with a private rental. I like this option because we can do our own cooking so that we don’t have to eat out the entire time we are on vacation but what I love most in having our own space for the week. Hotel and condos tend to be small and considering we have been waiting for 12 years to go I want to do it right. Also, if all five of us go we are definitely going to need a space larger than a hotel.
So the search begins and I am really hoping we make a real effort to get to Hawaii. It won’t be until at least 2013 but at least this time we are really thinking about making this vacation happen.
