Couldn’t Live With Out My Phone – #Troop8X #HTC8

So it’s been just about a month since I received the Windows 8X by HTC and like I have said over and over it’s the best phone that I have ever owned.

One of my favorite features is the live tiles.  These are tiles that update automatically without me having to go into the app if I choose not to.  The two live tiles that I use the most are my weather app and a contact page that I have setup for Melinda.  The live tile for Melinda will update when she posts to Facebook or if she texts me which allows me to see what she’s up to without me having to open the actual app.  These are two tiles that I look at many times throughout the day on a daily basis.

Content and/or other value provided by our partner, HTC.

I find myself discovering new apps and new features every single day.  I play with this phone a lot more than I ever have any other phone.  The main reason is I told myself and Melinda that I was going to make an effort to learn the ins and outs of the phone which is something I have never done in the past.  I am doing pretty well so far but I am sure I still have a ways to go.  I am not trying to learn and use every single feature of the phone but I would like to use it for everything I need to do during the day like Facebook, Twitter and commenting on blogs.  I feel the Windows 8X by HTC is so much more than a phone which allows me to leave more a more gadgets at home these days.  I no longer need to take my laptop or camera because my phone has replaced both of those items.

I never leave the house without my phone and if I did it wouldn’t matter how far I was from my house because I would need to go back home to get it.  My phone is my connection to family, friends and the world, LOL.  I would feel naked and lost without my phone plus my phone always seems to be attached to my hand anyway so I am not sure that I would ever leave it behind.

I am very grateful and happy that I was selected to be a part of this program because the Windows 8X by HTC totally rocks!

How do you feel about your phone? Do you love it like I do my phone?

I was provided with the Windows 8X by HTC but ALL pinions are based on my own experiences. #Troop8X #HTC8

  1. I have that phone myself! I keep finding new apps to love and the fluidity with which it moves from task to task has me swooning with love!

  2. This sounds like a really awesome phone! Makes me second guess getting the iPhone and the tiles sounds great! Maybe I’ll have to try this out next!

    • I had an iPhone 5 that I got rid of to use this phone and I’m not sorry I did. I love my Windows phone.

  3. I have seen so many great reviews of this phone that I am just tempted to grab it today. I’m glad to see tha it is working out well for you!

    • It’s an awesome phone that is easy to use so if you are in the market for a new phone check this one out.

  4. I have Windows 8 on my new computer and I love those tiles! If I were in the market for a new phone I would be checking this one out. I like the slim design and the features sound wonderful.

    • We have Windows 8 at home on our desktop which is a touch screen so it’s like a large tablet. If you ever get the change to check out the Windows phone because it will impress you for sure.

  5. I have the Windows Phone 8X by HTC and the Samsung Galaxy S3. I normally prefer the Galaxy, but the Windows Phone does have some nice features that I really like (kids corner, especially). I would feel LOST if I didn’t have my phone with me!

    • I had the Galaxy S3 a while back and loved it but I feel like this phone might be the best phone I have ever had. I am a total pain when it comes to phone though. LOL.

  6. Wow, my husband just got a new laptop with Windows 8 and all the tiles. I love the look of it. I think it would be a great feature with a phone.

I am due for an upgrade in a few months. This is going on my list of phones to check out.

  7. Love hearing your feedback on it because I am such an iPhone girl! I think you did a nice job telling me why this is worth it.

  8. Those live tiles look pretty interesting.
