Enjoying the Fruits of Our Labor from @HomeDepot #Digin

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Home Depot

Our backyard is more than just a patch of green grass.  It’s an outdoor living space.  It’s a getaway from the noise and distractions of the tv and computer.  It’s a breath of fresh air after hours of working at desk.

Each year our yard is transformed into garden to feed our family, a healthy bed of grass for our dogs to lounge and play area for the kids.  We work for hours and  hours getting everything just right so it’s comfortable and inviting not just for us but for friends and family for holidays and bbqs.  The deck is an extension of our yard and holds herbs, plants and flowers.  Tending to these also takes time and effort.

Without the multiple runs to Home Depot each season we wouldn’t have learned so much about lawn care to be able to enjoy our yard as much as we do.  We wouldn’t know how to treat for crabgrass or dandelions or when the best time to plant out tomatoes without the help from the knowledgeable associates in the store.

In fact we rely on Home Depot for most of our home projects big and small.

This spring we dedicated so much time and effort to create the space that we truly wanted and we aren’t done.  The grass is healthy and for the most part weed free, the veggies will soon be planted from the greenhouse the kids started a few weeks back and the deck furniture is cleaned off and ready to use.  I have a plan to bring in a fire pit and Adirondack chairs so we have a safe spot to roast marshmallows for s’mores.

Our experience with Home Depot has always been a great one but this year taught us so much about how to not only achieve a perfectly healthy lawn but how to maintain it throughout the warm summer months and into fall.  I look forward to enjoying what Home Depot helped us create these last few weeks.

It’s home improvement time, and The Home Depot has everything you need to #DigIn for Spring. No matter what projects you want to tackle, they have great values on all you need. They’re ready to help you with renovation ideas and expert advice, too.
