As some of you know I have a baby shoe obsession. I love love love baby shoes of any kind; sneakers, slippers, dress shoes, boots, soft soled, whatever. We recently received a pair of Acorn slippers for Shae. At first they just looked like pull on fleece slippers, no big deal. But after about a week of Shae wearing them I’ve realized they have become her faves. She picks them out everyday and gets furious when I have to take them off for bed (so now she sleeps in them sometimes). They are super soft, have a cool funky pattern and don’t fall off.
One of Acorn’s claims to fame is that they created the original Slipper Sock. They have also outfitted NASA’s astronauts with slippers in space. Since its founding in 1976, Acorn’s mission to provide “Comfort on Earth” has remained a constant. While today they are a profitable and high profile footwear manufacturer they hold on to the traditions of quality workmanship and hand-crafted details. They don’t just make slippers either. They have an extensive selection of comfort shoes for women, men and children. They’ve also delved into the eco-friendly world with some selections made from Vegan and Sustainable materials.
