“Ripley” – Premiering on Netflix internationally on April 4th

“Sugar” – Premiering on April 5th on Apple TV Worldwide
Colin Farrell stars as John Sugar, a modern-day noir detective in Los Angeles. Hired to find a missing Hollywood mogul’s granddaughter, Sugar uncovers dark family secrets while navigating the city’s underbelly. Co-starring Amy Ryan, the series is directed by Fernando Meirelles.
“Dinosaur” – Premiering on April 5th on Hulu
Set in Glasgow, “Dinosaur” follows Nina, a woman with autism, whose life is upended when her sister impulsively marries.
Nina juggles a potential new romance, her career as a paleontologist, and bridesmaid duties. Led by Ashley Storrie, who is autistic herself, the series explores themes of love and independence.
“Mr. Bates vs. the Post Office” – Premiering on April 7th on PBS
Toby Jones portrays Alan Bates in this drama based on the Horizon IT scandal. Falsely accused postal workers, including Bates, fight against bureaucratic injustice. Monica Dolan co-stars as Joe Hamilton, caught in a Kafkaesque nightmare of wrongful conviction.
“Franklin” – Premiering on April 12th on Apple TV+ Worldwide
Michael Douglas takes on the role of Benjamin Franklin in this historical drama set during the American Revolution. Based on Stacy Schiff’s book, the series follows Franklin’s diplomatic efforts in France to garner support for the American cause. The show also explores his personal and political challenges.

Adapted from the video game franchise, “Fallout” presents a post-apocalyptic future where survivors reside in underground bunkers. Led by Ella Purnell, the series explores themes of survival, morality, and the consequences of nuclear catastrophe.
“The Sympathizer” – Premiering on April 14th on HBO and HBO Max
Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, “The Sympathizer” is a complex series blending spy thriller and intercultural satire. Set after the Vietnam War, it follows the Captain (Hoa Xuande), a double agent from North Vietnam operating in Vietnam and the US.
Robert Downey Jr. plays four different roles, each reflecting a facet of US power. Directed by Don McKellar and Park Chan-wook, the series explores the Vietnam War’s lesser-known aspects.
“Under the Bridge” – Premiering on April 17th on Hulu
