Aeropostale Clothing Recap

I’ve been spending the last couple weeks taking Sabreena summer clothes shopping. She has a couple fave stores, Aeropostale being one of them. She loves their Chelsea bootcut jeans and always grabs their tees. This winter she latched onto a pretty gray zip up sweater and wore it with everything. Aeropostale’s style is youthful without being kiddie or over the top trendy.

We shopped a couple weeks ago during the I Half to Have it sale. She loaded up on shorts, cute tees and an adorable halter tank. We also received a great assortment of clothing for analysis. The boxer jammies make an appearance each time they go through the laundry cycle.
Did you know Aeropostale has a store for younger kids called P.S. from Aeropostale? I didn’t. Unfortunately I don’t have an actual store anywhere near me but I’m able to shop online for clothes for Shaun too that have the same fashion sense while remaining innocent looking for the 7-12 age group. Shaun received a great new green hoodie and has decided this pickle guy tee is his favorite, EVAH!!!!

Aeropostale does good for the community too. They recently wrapped up their annual “Teens for Jeans” campaign where they collected over 525,000 pairs of jeans for homeless teens across the US, Canada and Haiti.
WIN a $25 Gift Card to shop Aeropostale or a $25 Gift Card to shop P.S. by Aeropostale in store or online. Visit either store and tell me which Gift Card you’d rather win. This contest will have 2 winners, 1 for each card.

Anne Geddes Bear Jacket or Bunny Suit GIVEAWAY-CLOSED

Every baby and child deserves to be wrapped in soft luxurious materials. Anne Geddes allows that with her beautiful selections of apparel and accessories. From Anne’s Baby Clothing and Toddler Clothing to her Signature Women’s Clothing, there is a style to suit everyone. And best of all they are delightfully practical and inspired from Anne’s heart-warming imagery of babies. Choose from One-pieces, Summer Dress & Bloomer Sets, and Sundresses plus much more…

Shae recently received a Lilac Baby Bear Jacket and it’s adorable. A soft and fluffy, gently padded character jacket inspired by Anne’s beautiful images of babies dressed as teddy bears. This bear jacket is made with exquisite attention to detail, right down to the adorable baby bear ears on the hood and the Anne Geddes logo front fastening snaps. I picked a size big enough for next year so she can enjoy the same fluffy softness longer. She already has the Tiger jacket and it has replaced her other coat and become her everyday jacket. It’s warm enough to go to and from the car and quick walks to Shaun’s bus stop but light enough to wear in the car, while shopping and in the stroller.

Shopping on AnneGeddes.com is an adventure. Picking out the sweetest items like plush toys, baby outfits and prints is so much fun.

Win a Baby Bear Jacket, sized 0-5T or Anne Geddes Best-Selling Baby Bunny Suit 0-12 months. Bunny ear detailing on the hat, snug-fitting booties and a soft bunny tail over a softly padded bottom complete the set. Visit Anne Geddes Gift Shop and tell me something else you fell in love with.

Trying to follow Trends on Etsy

Etsy is one of my most favorite shopping sites. I admire the extreme talent of all the artists and crafters listed and try to support them as much as I can. I’m listing today a few trends that I really like but I doubt I could pull off.

Pretty Peacock Shop-peacock and organza flower headband
I LOVE these colors and the combo of the peacock feather and flower but I’m not sure I can confidently pull this off, I’m sure Sabreena could though.

A StashOlive-teal-brown crocheted and felted necklace with flower
Again the colors are drawing me in but I don’t know if the beads are something I can wear. The flower is absolutely beautiful and I’ve always been intrigued by the felting process.

MesTroisSoeursGeometric print leggings
The design and texture is cool and would look great with a tunic or long sweater but having short legs is a deterrent from wearing leggings or colored tights. These are something that Sabreena could easily pull off.

191 Unlimited offers style for Men and Boys

I know I’ve mentioned before how low-key and laid-back my kids are with the way they dress. Both Shaun and sabreena are jeans and tees masters. When it’s time to kick it up a notch I want to make sure Shaun is not only looking good but wearing something that is comfortable.

191 Unlimited is a collection of clothes for BOYS and men. Using 4 key principles: comfort, affordability, fit and attention to detail these stylish button-down shirts have an air of sophistication without being stuffy. 191 Unlimited was started with $191, 2 best friends, a trip to the casino and a vision. A successful and fashionable clothing line was born and can be found throughout Hollywood on the likes of Tom Brady from the NE Patriots and Taboo of the BlackEyed Peas.

Shaun received Montreux right before the holidays. It’s a deep eggplant color with pinstripes and a diamond pattern on the inside cuff and collar. These details stood out as he wore it casually with jeans and unbutton at top. Not to brag but my boy is handsome and this shirt really brought out the little man in him. I’m eyeing a couple shirts for Rob, thinking ahead to spring family pictures and them looking their best.

Check out 191 Unlimted online or in selected Macy’s, Nordstroms and other specialty stored found here.

Eden Home Organic, Study and In-home Spa Treatment

Where do you turn to shop for natural and eco-friendly bedding, clothing, baby products and everything else for your home?

Eden Home is the one place to find a complete selection of organic, all-natural and eco-friendly products for your home and life that won’t have you compromising your sense of style. Many of the so-called “organic” and “natural” products sold today are either not pure or not beautiful. So Eden Home was started to offer healthy choices ranging from organic clothes for baby to natural bath towels, from organic cookware to all natural shampoos.

When I was approached by Eden Home I was 1st pleased by the lovely design and easy to navigate site. Next I was amazed at the large selection of everything under the sun. I really enjoyed the variety of kids and baby gear: from organic clothes to natural toys to natural skincare to BPA-free feeding tools. Bedding and Clothing is where I made my first stops. Bamboo sheets are my new favorite indulgence in the bedroom but bamboo clothing is my new favorite personal indulgence. There is something special about the feel of organic bamboo and cotton, the result is silkiness against the skin with no pilling, snags or misshaping.

I was able to ANALYSE a pair of comfy Blue Canoe easy style pants. Easy is a perfect word for these stretchy wide-legged lounge pants. I got the Cognac color thinking it would be brown, I was wrong it had a warm cocoa/rust color, different from what I was expecting but still a pretty.
I would love to try out the unique cooking tools available. The La Chamba Clay Pot collection is truly one-of-a-kind. Made in Colombia not very differently than previous centuries these clay pots are hand formed and free of glazes and lead.

Look around Eden Home for yourself and tell me what green changes you want to make for your home for your chance to win a Bath/Spa Treatment gift basket for a natural destress in your own home.

Etsy Finds-Circular Accessories, hand-screenprinted clothing and accessories

You can’t go wrong with inspiration is drawn from nature and other elements that surround you. Etsy shop Circular Accessories is chock full of simple but beautiful designs motivated by designer Alison’s environment. Each piece is unique, original and special enough to be worn by women everywhere.

Great with jeans and a tee or coupled with a comfy sweater for cool winter days this extra long grey scarf is handprinted with a red bird on a Sakura branch. $22

I’m not a dress wearer so I would add this over a pair of leggings and sandals for a fabulous spring or summer outfit, gotta love the goldfish. $38

This is totally up Sabreena’s alley. She is my tshirt and jeans girl and can always be found with a hoodie. The owls look angry but they are cute on this top. The fit would look perfect on Sabreena! $35

Stay Warm this Winter with Cuddl Duds

It’s cold here! The weather took a drastic turn a couple weeks ago and I’m not coping well. Sabreena on the other hand is nice and toasty in her Cuddl Duds Activewear Midweight Shirt.

Cuddl Duds is a leading designer/manufacturer of warm undergarments. The products vary from lightweight tanks and camis to bamboo long-sleeve tees designed to keep women warm under the harshest conditions. Since 1908 parent company Komar has been providing comfortable, quality products – echoing the words of their founder “you only have one reputation”.

Sabreena instantly noticed the thickness of her long sleeve crew neck shirt. It’s definitely thicker than a typical long sleeve tee and the length is great too. She’s started wearing it on its own not as underwear but as a regular shirt. It’s silky material and t-shirt styling gives no one the impression that it’s supposed to be worn under something.

Warm up this cold winter with Cuddl Duds in a variety of materials, weights and styles.

Anne Geddes Tiger Jacket Recap

Everyone knows those sweet photos of babies snuggled on top of pillows or smushed up in a flower.

Those photos are taken by famed photographer Anne Geddes. Anne was born in Queensland, Australia on a beef cattle farm with 4 sisters. For many many years before becoming the incredible talent we all now know she traveled, worked, loved and lived until she found that exact passion that made her feel complete, photography. But not just any photography, the kind of children’s portraiture that makes your heart melt and wish you could get inside the photo with her subjects.Today Anne Geddes’ name is known worldwide. Anne’s award-winning images have been published in 83 countries spanning North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Her books have sold more than 18 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 24 languages.

I received her book Pure as a Christmas present from Rob when I was pregnant with Shaun. Opening it for the first time took my breath away. The timing was perfect; the book was filled with images of not just sweet wrinkly babies but of gorgeous glowing pregnant women. The picture of me opening that gift I wasn’t so glowing or gorgeous but the book made my Christmas. I’m not a book collector but this is one I will never let go, that is until it’s time to give it to one of my daughters.

This book along with her other publications, calendars, stationery and best of all babies and children’s clothing and accessories are available at AnneGeddes.com or at the first Anne Geddes retail store in the Downtown Disney® District in Anaheim, California. Shoppers there are able to enjoy selections of Anne’s large, art-quality prints, touch the soft natural materials of her Pure baby clothing line or the classic Fairy Tale collection. Another benefit of being a shopper is the chance to see and meet Anne in person as she is known to stop by now and again from her home in Australia, enjoying the opportunity to chat with friends and fans and to sign her books.

We had the opportunity to experience Anne Geddes’ Tiger collection with a analysis of the Tiger Jacket. I chose the “boy” color to match with more things of Shae’s thing and I wasn’t disappointed with that decision. The jacket is warm and velvety soft. She looked at it and screamed out “For Me!” as soon as I pulled it out of the box. She wore it a few times already and it looks and feels great. This particular jacket is for cool weather but not heavy cold winter. The hood features the cutest little tiger ears too.

Anne Geddes wants you to indulge your little one in with their own Tiger Jacket. Win a jacket of your color and size choice right here at LookWhatMomFound…and Dad too! Visit AnneGeddes.com and tell me something, anything you learned about her life or mission that you find interesting or another item that you just can’t live without.
