No More Filters with Dyson Cinetic #DysonUnfiltered on QVC

Dyson is at it again and pushing the boundaries of the same cyclonic technology they pioneered starting 25 years ago. The Cinetic Big Ball uses tiny, oscillating “Cinetic” cyclone tips that are able to spin out the finest of dust without clogging, thus completely negating the need for a filter. To keep traditional vacuums functioning properly, filters need to be maintained – otherwise, suction drops off. No filter means no annoying filter maintenance, which means Dyson Cinetic Big Ball will operate like new – binful after binful, year after year – making it the only vacuum that truly never loses suction.

We’ve been working with Dyson for many years and are always impressed with the power, quality and performance. It’s no different with the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball. Shaun is the main vacuumer in the house and he immediately noticed the powerful suction on our main rug, the one the dogs use as their bed, play area and lounging pad.

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ features:

  • Self-adjusting cleaner head: Dyson’s base plate automatically adapts to every floor surface, to remove dust from hard floors and carpets.
  • Ball™ technology: Sitting on a ball, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball™ vacuum has a lower center of gravity, making it easy to steer around furniture.
  • Instant release wand: No catches or parts to assemble, it reaches the top of stairs.
  • Close edge pick-up: Slim frame on the soleplate allows for cleaning up to the baseboard.
  • Hygienic bin emptying: With the press of a button, dust and dirt can be emptied directly into the waste bin.
  • Warranty: 5 year limited manufacturer’s warranty.lferris

Dyson Hot+Cool Fan Heater QVC Today’s Special Value

2014 disclosureI’ve been making some not so subtle comments about the The Dyson AM05 Hot + Cool fan heater the past couple days. That’s because not only is it an amazing product that can efficiently and quickly heat or cool a room for the changing weather it also is Today’s Special Value on QVC for $299.99. #HotontheQDyson Hot+Cool Fan Heater QVC Today's Special Value

That’s right!  On November 2nd  beginning at midnight (EST) QVC will be showcasing the latest technology from the Dyson family for an exceptionally low price.  Don’t be stuck in front of a tv screen trying to catch this deal. Visit, the QVC apps or by calling 800.345.1515 to get your pick of Iron/Red, Iron/Copper, and Iron/Silver, Black/Silver, Iron/Blue, and White/Silver. It’s One machine for four seasons.

How it works:

Using Air Multiplier™ technology and a motor engineered for greater airflow, AM05 draws in six gallons of air per second via a mixed flow impeller. Air friction is reduced using nine asymmetrically aligned fins, with rows of tiny holes. This helps maintains constant smooth airflow. Dyson Hot+Cool Fan Heater QVC Today's Special Value

In heater mode, two Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) ceramic plates heat the air as it’s projected into the room. The air is then accelerated through a tiny aperture set within the loop amplifier. This creates a jet of air which passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp angled at 5˚. Creating an area of low pressure behind the fan, air is drawn in through a process known as inducement. Surrounding air is drawn into the airflow in a process called entrainment.

Safety: Low surface temperatures throughout and no visible heating elements. And if tipped over, the machine has been engineered to automatically shut off.

Environmental chamber – The Dyson Hot + Cool™ fan heater was tested in Dyson’s own environmental chamber simulating temperatures from 41°F to 176°F, and 10% relative humidity to 80%.

The swift drop in temperature here in the Delaware Valley we had to close our windows and use the Dyson Hot + Cool fan heater to take the chill off in our room last night. I prefer a cool sleeping environment but just needed to make it more comfortable to climb under the covers and fall asleep. Dyson Hot+Cool Fan Heater QVC Today's Special Value

I got mine and love it. We recently added another dog to our family. A shedding dog at that. Sweeping 2-3 times a day wasn’t fun and I found most of his hair was sticking to the broom. No more problems with the DC59 Motorhead. A few minutes of running this over our kitchen and living room floors picks up all the hair, bits of dog food and all the other dirt the dogs and kids track in all day long.

That’s a day’s worth of dog hair. I’m embarrassed.

Comfort Foods Kids Will Love from a cookbook #kidsinthekitchen

This week is a little different instead of talking about something we did I’m gonna show you something we’re gonna try this weekend.  I came home from a couple days at the Jersey Shore to this little gift from David Venable of QVC.

Comfort Foods Kids Will Love #kidsinthekitchen

David Venable might be the most popular host on QVC. He’s known for his passion of food and the excitement he exudes on air during In The Kitchen With David. He’s great at what he does because I want to buy everything he’s showcasing. He’s also a sweetheart who will chat you up about food, family, kids and everything in between.

I did my own Happy Dance when I saw my new cookbook. Comfort Foods the Take you Home is a peek on what started his love of food in his mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens.  I was especially impressed with the post-it flags highlighting dishes that my family would love. The first one caught my eye and stayed with me as I browsed the rest of the book. Mom’s Mayonnaise Drop Biscuits sounded odd at first but it really makes so much sense. I add mayonnaise to dishes to add flavor and fat and moisture so why not biscuits.

Cookbook from David Venable #kidsinthekitchen

We are making these this weekend!  I want to thank David for remembering our conversation about #kidsinthekitchen and sharing tips for getting the kids to help out more with meal prep and cooking.

Next week we’ll share our experience with your recipes.

Did you have fun in the “kitchen” this week? Did you try a new food or a new kid friendly restaurant? Did you craft something fun with popsicle sticks? We invite you to share your experiences, photos, stories or recipes that include your #kidsinthekitchen.

Come join me and my co-hosts, Paula at Frosted Fingers and Sara at Sensibly Sara, each week linking up a post, new or old, that feature the theme Kids in the Kitchen. It doesn’t matter what you are doing as long as you are doing it together, enjoying it and learning something along the way.
