Every spring my family takes a trip to the Jersey Shore for the day. Just a day to play in the sand, stroll the boardwalk and have some treats before the summer crowd rolls in. Since we aren’t as close to the Jersey Shore this year I’ve found a phenomenal replacement for our fudge obsession, Rosa’s Fudge.
Handmade with real cream and butter and vanilla, Rosa’s Fudge stands against any of the beach places I’ve been to in Maryland, Jersey and Delaware. My favorites were Maple Walnut and Chocolate Walnut; both had delicious creamy textures and big chunks of walnuts. The others I really wanted to try but they had been snatched up by the rest of my family were Vanilla Cherry and Chocolate Coffee.

One of my favorite vacation foods are these awesome apple fritters that I got at Newport Beach when we were there on vacation….they were so yummy and I look elsewhere for some just as good, but have never found any.
Our Favorite Vacation food is,
Bean Barley soup with roastbeef Sandwich at Canter’s Deli in Treasure Island/Las Vegas.
We also love Steak and Eggs Breakfast at the Orlean’s and
The Buffet at Wynns.

One of my past vacation foods was taffy kisses, made at the Euclid Beach Amusement Park, where we used to go once or twice a summer with my parents…the kisses were sweet and fresh and we always took a bagful home, tasting a few in the car with the same comments: “WOW, these are great!!”

My favorite vacation food.. I have to have it everytime I go on vacation. I go to a small town in North East Penna. They have a Hoagie shop called Leroys, I have to have a Leroys Steak Cosmo Hoagie with the special Leroys sauce. If I don’t have at least one while I am there I don’t feel like I was on vacation. You should try one, in Towanda Pa.. they are super Yummy!
