I am that guy that has to have the latest and greatest when it comes to technology especially when it comes to smart phones.

I can remember when Melinda and I both had flip phones (when they were cool, LOL) and she wanted to make the move to a Blackberry Curve. I was so jealous that she was getting a Blackberry and I was going to have to keep my crappy flip phone that somehow I figured out a way where I was able to get one for me and one for Melinda.
I seem to get a new phone every six months because I am never totally satisfied with the phone I have. Over the last two years I bet I have had 6-8 different phones. I have gone from Blackberry to Android to Apple back to Android back to Apple and recently found out I am getting the opportunity to review and give my thoughts on the Windows 8x by HTC. I am looking forward to this because about a month ago Melinda and I stopped into the Microsoft store at the Christina Mall here in Delaware so that I could see if this phone would be something I wold ever consider. I left the store not really sure what to think about the Windows Phone and then this great opportunity arose so now it’s going to happen for sure. I currently have the iPhone 5 and it’s ok but it doesn’t WOW me. I know Apple fans are going to send me hate mail but I have never been a hard core Apple guy.
Like I mentioned I have used Android devices as well as the iPhone and they just don’t seem to overly impress me. Now I am not saying that the are junk by any means I am just saying that when it comes to smart phones I am a pretty tough critic so I am hoping the the Windows 8x by HTC knocks my socks off because I need a phone that I can totally love and stop jumping from phone to phone.
Be on the lookout in the coming weeks and I dive more in this phone and bring you my personal thoughts and opinions.
I was provided with the Windows 8X by HTC but ALL pinions are based on my own experiences. #Troop8X #HTC8
I can’t wait to hear more! This looks like a cool phone! I am never quite satisfied with the phone I have either! I always want to trying something else! Can’t wait to see what you think of this phone!
You would think by now I would have found the perfect phone but nope I’m still looking. I hope this Windows Phone is everything I am wanting.
I’m looking forward to your review. I think we’re opposites. I hold onto my phone until it literally falls apart.
LOL, you and my wife Melinda have a lot in common as she is the same way when it comes to her phone.
Hey, Rob. I’m real curious what you think of it. I’ve been a PC guy most of my life. Apple has certainly won me over a bit the past few years. But I”m nowhere near a die-hard. Apple makes real slick products, but sometimes they’re “too simplistic.” I did like my Droid until it kept crashing on me. So I’m dying to hear what you think of the new Windows one.
Andrew….I will be doing a few additional posts on the phone so make sure you check back because I will be giving my honest opinion of the phone for sure.
I love new tech items, especially phones! The HTC windows phone is really sleek!
I love new phones too, maybe a little to much. LOL.
Cool phone! My new-ish Android just died last week and I’m using my older Android. Trying to hang tight for four more months so I can change providers and get a better selection. This particular phone looks awesome and hope it does knock your socks off!
So far so good as I have learned a few awesome things about it today so that makes it that much better. Stay tuned for more info.
Awww I want one please?! LOL I have a basic cell phone – suppose it’s a smart phone, ZTE Fury with Sprint. I like it, but I am waiting to get my hands on something better. can not wait to hear more about this journey with your phone.
LOL it will be a journey for sure just like I have with every other smart phone. Some just last longer than others.
That is such a nice one. Hang onto it for a while, and stop all this switching! 😉
LOL, you are right and you also sound just like Melinda.
My husband is due for a new phone…might have to look into this!
I was skeptical at first about this phone but I have been playing around with it for the last few hours and I am liking it more and more. Something to look into for sure.
I’ve been hearing a lot about Windows 8 and this phone. I’m interested to hear what you think of it.
I can say at this point I am liking it more and more as the hours pass and I learn new things about it but I will be doing a few more posts on my thoughts so be sure to check them out.
That phone looks so neat. I like that it seems like a mini computer.
You are exactly right. It is a mini computer and operate just like Windows 8 on the desktop.
