WTF Is Wrong With People

As a dad people like this give us a bad name.  This guys is a total loser!!!!!!

Sloane Briles, 35, A California man was arrested for investigation of throwing his crying 7-year-old son into the waterfrom a sightseeing cruise boat during an argument that shocked other passengers, authorities said Monday.

If I was a passenger I am not sure what I would have done in this situation.  I would have either jumped in to get the kid from the water or kicked the father’s ass.  Knowing me I would have saved the kid first then beat the father.  I am not an overly aggressive person but seeing something like this would TOALLY set me off.  What gives that father any right to throw his kid into the water for any reason.  Horse playing at the pool is one thing but off the side of a boat is a whole new ball game.

What the hell did the kids do to the father that pissed him off so bad that the father thought what he did was a good idea?  Trust me as a father kids can make you extremely mad.  Shaun on many occasions ticked me off beyond belief but throwing him off a boat has never once crossed my mind.  I hope this father never gets to see his kids again because he obviously doesn’t give a crap about them anyway.

What are your thoughts on this?

Well, Then

The New Year brings out the best and worst in some people. We make grand plans to make changes in the way we eat, sleep, work and live but then get so wrapped up with the rest of life that we falter and immediately think we failed. Changes to our lifestyle and habits take time, practice and support.

WellThen.org is a community of people who wrestle with everyday situations and struggles.

Read up on tips to get your kids to sleep better or ways to incorporate healthy meals into a hectic schedule. A new topic is introduced each week and members then share stories, videos, pictures and comments. The community was created to inspire and support others through times of need, question and confusion.

well, then is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim, a not for profit, full-service health plan serving members throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Remodeling the Powder Room

We’ve been doing some repairs and upgrades around the house lately.  Sabreena’s room was painted, the front yard has been weeded and we’ve been patching up holes. The latest project was adding bathroom furniture to the smallest powder room.

It’s painted red (that’s a post for another day) with a tight fit and no storage.  We got a cabinet to hide cleaners and the extra toilet paper.  The basket on the back of the toilet is a bit more decorative but holds necessities like hand towels and air fresheners.

We went with white accessories and furniture because of the dark red paint and white trim. The retro stainless steel faucet and pedestal sink tie everything together very nicely for an attractive final look.
