I’ve been wearing LipFusion Infatuation Liquid Shine Multi-Action Lip Fattener in Big & Bare for a couple weeks. The shine is enough to satisfy me but the plumping action is a bonus. Applying required a mirror, the texture is thick and would look streaky and clumpy if not evenly applied. The formula did tingle but didn’t hurt. I’ve heard other products burned. Is It Programmed Into Girls At A Young Age?

Last weekend my mother in law (Gayle) was heading to get her nails done and Sabreena was also going to get her eyebrows waxed.  A few minutes before they left Gayle asked Melinda if she wanted to go to get a pedicure or manicure.  She proceeds to say if you want to come, it is on me.  Gayle is great and loves to treat the girls out to a day at the salon.

While all this was going on Shae kept saying “I want to go with Mom Mom too” and Melinda told Shae to ask Mom Mom if she could go.  Of course Mom Mom said yes because she would never tell Shae no.

When they got back everyone got stuff done while at the salon and when I say everyone I mean even Shae.  Shae’s nails were painted pink and one finger nail had a sun painted on it and another had flowers.  That was last week and Shae has had her nails painted three different times.  Everytime her nails chip she asks for them to be repianted. 

I wonder where  she learned that from!




BH Cosmetics Palettes Recap

I’ve said it before, I love cosmetics and I especially love eye shadows. I found BH Cosmetics when I was searching YouTube for eye shadow application tutorials. It was love at first sight when I spotted these enormous cases with rainbows of color spilling out.

BH Cosmetics are known to be highly pigmented quality cosmetics but without the crazy high price tag of other brands. I’ve been using the 26 Shadow Blush Combo Palette exclusively now for a couple weeks. The colors are perfect for my everyday make-up application; neutrals that range from vanilla to violet to chocolate. The blush colors lovely but I’ve never used them for that, they are just more eye color shades for me. Other products include the super popular 120 color Eye shadow Palettes and the 88 color shimmer and matte finish palettes.

I also received the 10 piece Deluxe Brush Set (wood color). I’m completely impressed with the quality and softness of the brushes; made from natural & synthetic fibers and solid wood. My favorite brush is the Foundation Brush, the flat wide hairs are perfect for applying my powder foundation and concealer more evenly and more efficiently.
The advantage of natural hair is that it has scales which trap the makeup on the bristles. These scales hold the pigments and transfer it onto your skin effectively.
