MUK LUKS shoes not just for Eskimos

A muk luk is a soft boot made of reindeer skin or seal skin worn by Eskimos. That’s the traditional meaning anyway, my MUK LUKS are cuter. I was sent a pair of Horizontal Rib lace back boots for review and love the look and feel of them.

I’m not the type to tuck my jeans into my boots but it’s almost necessary with these so you can show off the fun lace-up detail in the back. My boots are also lined with Sherpa, that along with the front sweater section these are uber comfy and warm. The lace up back is great for getting a tight fit around jeans or a snugger fit under jeans. They wear like a slipper, comfortable with no pressure points or heel. These are perfect for my casual lifestyle.

Blue Smoke Salsa

Chips and salsa are the ultimate anytime snack and Melinda and I love to try different salsas so when we were asked if we wanted to try Blue Smoke Salsa we were like “heck yeah”.

History of Blue Smoke Salsa:

Raised with 13 brothers and sisters, gardening, cooking and canning was nothing new to Robin Hildebrand. But when requests for her product began to grow, she left her full-time job to produce and market her salsa right out of her home.

Blue Smoke Salsa is homemade in West Virginia and they still use the same exact recipe they have used for approximately the last 20 years. Blue Smoke Salsa offers eleven different products and has a nice selection like the peach salsa and hot salsa and they even have a few jellies like the hot and mild pepper jelly which will surly warm up any occasion. Blue Smoke Salsa offers their products by the jar and they also offer premade or custom gift baskets which would be a perfect gift for Christmas and birthdays. Melinda and I LOVED The Blue Smoke Salsa peach salsa. We had it last Friday night as an appetizer before our pizza as Friday is pizza night and it allowed us to hang out and just chat a little while enjoying some chips and peach salsa. The Blue Smoke Salsa peach salsa is nice and thick which is good because a lot of salsas tend to be watery so it is hard to eat. We used our bag recently for a day full of shopping. The internal changing pad came in really handy for those times that changing tables weren’t available. I was able to use dressing rooms with ease and privacy. Diapers and wipes are easily accessible when the bag is open so there is no reaching around searching for exactly what is needed. The pockets are large and plentiful enough store diapers, wipes and a change of clothes and all the other necessities for your little one. The included stroller straps came in handy so the bag could easily be attached and kept out of the way when not needed. I was also able to store my baby carrier in the bungee strap on the outside of the bag. This left the stroller basket free for purchases.
