Clic-it for More Organization

No I’m not pregnant but I did get a really cool diaper bag recently to review. I don’t use a diaperbag on a daily basis anymore but when I decide to venture out with Shae and my niece Madi out I need to arm myself with something more organized than a purse.

Let me introduce you to the Clic-It™ Smart Diaper Bag System. Smart seems to be an odd word to give to a diaper bag but since it’s used to explain the organizational features it makes total sense. At first glance it looks like a regular messenger style diaper bag. But when you start digging around and “clicking” the accessories on and off it turns into your own custom designed diaper tote.

Not everyone uses pacifiers, not everyone uses bottles so this bag lets you pick and choose the accessories that fit your baby and your lifestyle. Personally I would us the insulated tote, gadget case, key ring and organizer pouch. I’m a pretty good diaper bag packer, having 3 kids will do that to someone, but having the things you need right at your fingertips is essential when you have a runny nose, fussy kid or diaper explosion.

And if your trip today differs from your trip yesterday you can easily switch around the accessories to suit the situation or a different child. No more bottles, no need to even attach that one anymore. Potty training, no changing pad needed; completely customizable.

Aside from all the additional accessories you can buy the bag already comes equipped with enough outside and inside pockets to make anyone happy. A wipe-clean surface lines the inside and best of all it has stroller loops providing a great way to hang it while keeping

I’ve attempted to video tape the easy click on process and the bag itself but I’m clumsy and stuttered most of the time. The below video will clearly show you how Clic-It has given moms and dads a great tool.

Most of you probably know we love Melissa and Doug Baby and Toddler Toys in a big way.  I would almost say in a stalker kind of way, LOL.  We have had Melissa and Doug toys in the house since Shaun was a baby and he is now seven.  I can’t even tell you how many things Shae has from the lemonade stand to numerous play food sets.

Something about Melissa and Doug toys just draws me in.  Back over the summer we were at Border’s and I saw a huge section of items and we bought Shae the pizza set.  I liked the pizza set so much I went back two days later and got her the birthday cake set.  Melissa and Doug toys are built with imagination in mind for the little ones and big ones who will play with them.

We are excited to have received for overview the Purse Fill and Spill and the Mailbox Fill and Spill for our two nieces.  They are still babies but the thought of them growing up with Melissa and Doug toys like Shaun and Shae did is a really cool thought.  The toys are quality made and will last a long time no matter how hard you beat them up.

Here is a brief description of the Mailbox Fill and Spill:

Soft plush mailbox full of happy greetings for your baby. Peek inside through the see-through back panel, raise the flag and open the door to remove your mail. Find envelopes for many special occasions with removable stamps and other treats. Put them in, take them out, it’s always good news. Constructed of high quality fabrics and plastic for durable play. Here is a brief description of the Purse Fill and Spill:

Baby Baby Baby a bedtime story

Books are a staple in our house. Each child has grown up with a bookcase filled with them. I want to pass that on to my nieces too. When I received an email to review Marilyn Janovitz’ newest publication Baby Baby Baby I knew to jump on it.

Book reviews are hard for me because the subject matter has to fit perfectly with the reader. In this case; a board book was the right fit. Not only is Baby Baby Baby an interactive and entertaining rhyme it’s a bedtime story. This means that each time it’s read it ends softly and with kisses and hugs.

Snuggle up close
Cuddle your cheek
Whole little baby likes to
Sleep Sleep Sleep

Marilyn Janovitz is the author/illustrator of over a dozen children’s books, including Can I Help?, Is It Time?, and What Can Be Keeping Santa?. She lives in New York City and is a former antiques dealer. She is also an assemblage artist whose works have been featured in advertisements and on textiles. Read

oKIDokie Sounds for Silence

oKIDokie announces the growing availability of its Sounds for Silence Settling Baby Program throughout the U.S. The program goes beyond sleep-assistance and baby soothing music CDs on the market or the use of lullabies and calms nine out of 10 babies; of those, one out of two settle in less than one minute.

The Sounds for Silence Program includes the Soundtracks and Sounds for Silence Baby Settling and Health Guide. It is the perfect holiday gift for new parents and is now available at a limited holiday season cost of $9.95 at Amazon.com.

Infant colic and irritability, and the resulting parental sleep deprivation, affects about one million families each year in the United States. Nearly one in four babies has persistent infant irritability caused by colic.

Sounds for Silence was created by Pediatrician, Dr. Harry Zehnwirth to help parents solve infant sleep challenges, parental sleep deprivation and the resulting exhaustion and frustration.

The Sounds for Silence Soundtracks distract, engage and quickly soothe unsettled babies with rhythmical, familiar and reassuring sounds. With a 90 percent success rate, Sounds for Silence is also soothing to parents.

This would have been great for Shaun and Shae when they were babies.  They love music now at bed time and I am sure Sounds of Silence would have helped them on those restless nights when they weren’t able to settle down and get to sleep which was often with the both of them.

The program also comes with the Sounds for Silence Baby Settling and Health Guide. This practical book contains reassuring advice for parents on settling strategies, managing irritability and infant health issues. It is written from a no-nonsense perspective that cuts through the outdated conventions and myths of child-rearing. It is uplifting and reassures parents that they are not alone and their infant’s sleeping challenges are not uncommon.

Dr. Zehnwirth encourages parents to follow their intuition and have confidence to listen to their heart when it comes to fulfilling their baby’s needs. New parents are bombarded with advice from friends and family, as well as outdated and conflicting information, often resulting in them feeling inadequate and guilty. Instead, Dr Zehnwirth and Sounds for Silence supports parents with information, practical strategies and reassurance.

London Bridge Children Wall Art Recap

My children are the most important things in my live. Because of this I’m always finding ways to celebrate that love for them. London Bridge Children is an online children’s boutique that sells unique baby bedding, accessories and beautiful personalized artwork.
Please read about London Bridge Children and its beginning and inspiration.
Welcome to London Bridge Children! I’m Lori, the artist and owner. I create unique and fun personalized art for children. My own 4 kids, ages 1 to 11 are the inspiration for my art.
I originally started London Bridge Children to sell my acrylic paintings and prints. However, I’ve met other artists and companies that offer great items I think my customers will also like….so I’ve added other items to my store. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the products I offer!

I was given the opportunity to analyse Lori’s children’s wall art for myself. It took me a little while to choose what print I wanted, something to represent 1 child or just the girls, but I finally settled on something that showed me all of them. I chose this style picture with the 3 of them sitting on a swing. It’s hanging in my bedroom, in between baby pictures of the kids. It’s the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see when I go to sleep. It’s precious to me because it really captures them. I have Shae sitting in between Shaun and Sabreena because in real life that’s where she always wants to be; right next to her brother and sister.

Personalized products like this always catch my eye and take hold of my heart. No matter how old they get or bratty they can be my kids are my kids forever and I love them with all my heart.

Lori with London Bridge Children wants to offer one of our readers a 11X14 personalized print to giveaway. Visit London Bridge Children’s artwork and tell which design you would choose.

Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 Baby Carrier Recap

Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 baby carrier is the newest innovation in baby-wearing. More than just a carrier this particular item also works as a portable child seat in place of high chairs and a restraint for shopping carts. One key positive point is there is no need to remove your child from the harness to be able to switch function. It’s ‘click and go” system makes the transition smooth and comfortable for baby.

I’ve worn all 3 of our kids and have used all sorts of styles of carriers. The Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 baby carrier is unique, something I’ve never seen before. It’s made for children ages 4 months to 3 years old. I tested it out with Shae while she is under the recommended max weight. She thought it was hysterical to be facing out. She shook her body and kicked her legs and she wasn’t going anywhere unless she leaned too far forward, there was a good chance she was going to fall out. I believe this has a lot to do with her height. I know she is under the weight limit but her dangling legs got in the way of my own walking.

I like that the child sits off to the side rather right in front. This position gives mom and dad the ability to sit and push a cart or stroller or drink a cup of coffee without fear of hurting, bumping or spilling on babies’ head. I look forward to testing this out on my nieces very soon. They are almost at the right age where the head and neck control is needed for outward facing carriers. Something else that is a great feature for moms is the ability to breastfeed while never having to remove baby from carrier.

The “Click and Go” restraint system takes some getting used to but that goes with any new baby gear. The clips are color coded and the included instructional DVD shows you where to guide the straps and how it should wrap around yours and baby’s body. The ergonomic and lightweight design makes the Snazzy Baby Deluxe 3-in-1 Combo Carrier is perfect for moms and dads and being a winner of the prestigious iParenting Award for “outstanding Product of 2009” you can trust that other moms and dads have also said so.

Win a Snazzy Baby 3-in-1 Baby Carrier for yourself here at LookWhatMomFound…and Dad too! Visit Snazzy Baby and talk a look at all the other awards and testimonials. Tell me what color Snazzy Baby carrier you would like to win.
